The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in fire protection engineering, with substantial experience in industrial settings and knowledge of codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field; FPE designation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection for industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess industrial facilities for fire hazards, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Design and develop tailored fire protection systems including suppression, detection, and alarms.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, engineers, and facility managers to integrate systems into projects.
• Stay updated on codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and drawings related to fire protection.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of systems.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and insurers for permits and certifications.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
