Job summary

McGough is seeking an Industrial Superintendent to lead field operations from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget alignment.

The role requires strong leadership of field staff and subcontractors, coordination with the Project Management team, and active pursuit of Lean methods to improve on-site performance. Travel to multiple jobsites is expected; a comprehensive safety program is integral.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-8 years of construction-related experience.
• Experience driving continuous improvement.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Preferred: construction degree and bilingual Spanish/English.

Responsibilities

• Manage Pre-Construction tasks including safety plans and site rules.
• Lead field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers on projects.
• Oversee project schedule with Project Management to keep timeline.
• Develop weekly work plans and look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate RFIs, procurement, tools, and equipment with PM.
• Ensure quality control and on-site documentation.
• Monitor budget alignment for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Closeout tasks: punch lists, commissioning, final inspections.
