Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support for our industrial machinery. The role involves coordinating installations, relocations, demonstrations, trainings, maintenance, modifications, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer sites to ensure optimal machine performance.

The ideal candidate travels extensively (more than 70%), communicates with customers regularly, and promotes service and parts sales while maintaining strong relationships.

Qualifications

• High school education with 3+ years of technical schooling or equivalent experience.
• Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fluid Dynamics is preferred for mid-size press service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform inspection/maintenance, modifications, troubleshooting, and repair of Komatsu machinery at customer sites.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and customer maintenance personnel as needed.
• Provide technical phone support for troubleshooting and repair.
