Job summary

QXO is seeking an industrial mechanical maintenance technician in the Mooresville area to maintain, repair and install equipment including Graco machines, compressors, generators and insulation processing gear. The role requires travel and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in industrial maintenance, a Machine Tool Technology degree or similar certification, and strong skills in reading shop manuals, math and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver''s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Minimum of 4 years industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Machine Tool Technology Degree or similar technical school certification preferred.
• Good working knowledge of shop manuals, mathematics and blueprints.
• THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, assemble and install equipment such as Graco machines, compressors, generators, air dryer systems and insulation processing equipment.
• Willing to perform incidental welding and incidental metal work when repairing equipment.
• Travel and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Operate and maintain hand, power and shop tools, welding equipment, measuring instruments and other mechanical equipment.
• Operate, maintain and transport trucks and trailers as needed.
• Any other duties as assigned.
