Job summary

QXO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, ensuring safe and efficient facility operations. The role supports reliability by minimizing downtime and maintaining a safe working environment in Dallas, TX.

Shift options include 6am–3pm, 7am–4pm, or 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday. Weekly pay and a pay rate of $29–$32 per hour depending on experience, plus a $45/month cell phone allowance.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy materials (≥50 lbs)
• Exposure to equipment, machinery, and varying environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Inspect equipment and identify issues to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational problems and implement effective solutions.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate service records.
• Interpret manuals, drawings, and technical documents to support maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
