• Capable of coordinating between crafts to prevent jurisdictional conflicts.
• Ability to instruct journeymen on safety procedures and techniques.
• Strong reporting skills for time sheets, quantities and work status.

Responsibilities

• Identify safe practices and on-the-spot corrective action when needed.
• Check adequacy of existing job methods and procedures.
• Instruct journeymen in craft tasks including safety procedures.
• Read blueprints and inspect finished work for quality and completeness.
• Complete planned work on schedule and manage priorities.
• Identify potential problems early and remediate promptly.
• Stay within project cost control goals and unit rate standards.
• Submit accurate reports on time, backcharges, quantity, and status.
