Job summary

Beitzel Corporation is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead our Beitzel Electrical team. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes field supervision, craftsmanship, and safety on diverse industrial projects across energy, mining, and construction sectors.

You will guide a crew, coordinate labor, materials, and paperwork, and travel frequently for on-site work, including overnight stays and occasional nights/weekends. Strong reading of blueprints and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

4+ years of electrical experience is preferred.
Must possess a Journeyman’s Electrical License from at least one state (MD preferred)
MSHA-WV Electrical License is preferred
S. Department of Labor (MSHA) Qualified Electrician
State of West Virginia, Office of Miners’ Health, Safety & Training Certified Electrician preferred
State of West Virginia, State Fire Marshal Master Electricians License or Equivalent preferred
State of Maryland, Master Electricians License is preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Industrial Services is preferred
Demonstrated leadership and employee training abilities preferred
Skillful in coordinating and prioritizing work

Responsibilities

Lead and perform electrical installations and troubleshooting
Provide labor to industrial trades and to various construction and industrial projects
Communicate equipment and supply needs to both Electrical field personnel and management
Prepare time and material (T&M tickets), receipts, and other paperwork as required by the job
Demonstrate knowledge of the installation of concrete pours and finishes, building and preparing forms, rebar, masonry, block laying, pipefitting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching and general labor as required
Provide detailed reports, paperwork, and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping, billing and inventory
Lead, train, and mentor Field Services employees
