Job summary

Viking Electric in Madison, Wisconsin, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Industrial Focused Field Account Manager. The role focuses on growing account volume and profitability by promoting Viking's products and services to electrical contractors in the Madison market.

You will negotiate orders, develop tailored business plans, and collaborate with account representatives and project teams to deliver quality service, resolve disputes, and achieve accounts receivable goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years electrical industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field preferred.
• Valid state driver's license with good driving record.
• Strong understanding of Electric products and Viking Electric services.
• Negotiating, selling, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders and meet schedules.
• Promote Viking Electric products and services to grow account profitability.
• Coordinate with account team and credit department to meet AR goals.
