Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Field Account Manager to lead local account strategy in Minneapolis. You will promote Viking's products and services while growing account volume and profitability through professional, ethical engagement with customers and vendors.

The role emphasizes strategic selling, leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and superior service in the Midwest market.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years electrical industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field preferred.
• Valid state driver's license with good driving record.
• Strong negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders, meet schedules, and improve profitability while making Viking Electric the primary material source for each customer.
• Promote and sell Viking Electric's people, products, services and solutions; tailor a business plan to each customer's potential and needs.
• Collaborate with Account Representatives, Project Team, and other specialists to ensure quality service, resolve disputes, manage credit-related goals, and prospect for new accounts.
