Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Industrial Estimator to support industrial construction and coatings projects. You will prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates, perform drawing and quantity takeoffs, and conduct field takeoffs and site visits to verify scope.

Review plans and bid documents, solicit vendor pricing, collaborate with operations and field teams on budgets and bid strategies, track revisions, assist with proposals, and build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for industrial and/or industrial projects.
• Perform drawing takeoffs and quantity takeoffs from plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Conduct field takeoffs and site visits to gather project information and verify scope requirements.
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Collaborate with operations, project management, and field teams to develop project budgets and bid strategies.
• Track estimate revisions and maintain organized bid documentation.
• Analyze project risks, opportunities, and cost impacts to support accurate pricing.
• Assist with proposal preparation and bid submissions.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
