Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Industrial Estimator for our Bridgeville, PA on-site, permanent role. The candidate will prepare cost estimates for industrial projects, perform drawing and field takeoffs, and coordinate with operations and management to develop bid strategies.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans and bid documents, soliciting vendor pricing, and maintaining bid documentation while building relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing accurate cost estimates for industrial projects.
• Proficiency in drawing takeoffs from plans, specs and documents.
• Ability to conduct field takeoffs and verify scope on site.

• Perform drawing takeoffs and quantity takeoffs from plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Conduct field takeoffs and site visits to gather project information and verify scope requirements.
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Collaborate with operations, project management, and field teams to develop project budgets and bid strategies.
• Track estimate revisions and maintain organized bid documentation.
• Analyze project risks, opportunities, and cost impacts to support accurate pricing.
• Assist with proposal preparation and bid submissions.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
