Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; generally 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in reading electrical/mechanical drawings and work orders.
• Analytical problem-solver who communicates issues and fixes clearly to teammates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Hands-on familiarity with automated industrial machinery and with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance exactly as scheduled and specified.
• Walk the line: perform visual checks, verify fluid levels, lubricate and clean, tighten/adjust.
• Replace worn parts and calibrate sensors and gauges.
• Use diagnostic tests to assess the condition, performance, and functionality of equipment.
• Triage issues by testing, reviewing symptoms, and applying diagnostic tools to isolate the root cause.
• Scope minor to moderate repairs—identify the materials, parts, and tools required.
• Record every action: document repairs and maintenance, parts used, and results.
• Keep shop tools and equipment reliable through routine inspection and care.
• Own the parts pipeline: track inventory, place orders, receive shipments, and verify against receipts.
• Submit requests to restock commonly used consumables.
• Contribute to equipment installs, modifications, and relocations.
• Navigate technical resources with ease—diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, OEM instructions, blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Share insights and feedback on issues as they develop.
• Complete all required paperwork: work orders, parts requests, RCA reports, PM and runtime inspection sheets, and downtime reports.
• Take direction from senior mechanics; lend a hand to junior mechanics with routine questions.
• Champion safety by following company and operational procedures.
• Pitch in with other tasks as assigned.
