Greif is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic for the 2nd shift in Milwaukee. The role focuses on troubleshooting, performing repairs, and maintaining mechanical equipment to ensure reliable production lines.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma with 5+ years of experience, strong preventive maintenance and diagnostic skills, and the ability to mentor junior mechanics. Excellent safety awareness and CMMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma (or equivalent) and 5+ years of experience.
• Expert knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and advanced diagnostic testing methods.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs.

Aufgaben

• Performs preventative maintenance following PM procedures.
• Conducts inspections, checks fluids, lubricates, adjusts components, replaces parts, calibrates sensors and gauges.
• Diagnoses machinery conditions and performance using advanced tools.
• Uses CMMS and diagnostics to streamline maintenance processes.
• Leads root cause analysis to prevent recurrences and improve equipment reliability.
• Documents work orders, parts used, and maintenance activities.
• Trains and mentors junior mechanics and shares expertise.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed and maintains workshop organization.
