Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Technician in Houston, TX to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair industrial facility equipment. You’ll work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems, including CNC machinery and overhead cranes, ensuring safe, reliable operations.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, LOTO procedures, and collaboration with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, CNC machinery, and PLCs.
Experience with maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, including CNC equipment.
Inspect and repair overhead cranes, pumps, gearboxes, and motors.
Maintain facility utilities such as HVAC and compressed air lines.
Document PMs and repairs using standard maintenance software and tools.
