Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair industrial facility equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.

You will inspect hydraulic and pneumatic systems, diagnose PLCs and CNC gearboxes, and assist with facility utility systems while following safety procedures and LOTO protocols. This role requires hands-on skills and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
OSHA 10/30, CMRP/CMRT, EPA Universal Certification or NFPA 70E are a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery, hydraulic systems, pneumatic equipment, and overhead cranes.
Diagnose electrical systems, PLCs, and automated CNC equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
Rebuild pumps, gearboxes, actuators, and fabricate basic guards or brackets.
Maintain facility infrastructure including compressed air lines and HVAC systems.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance using standard tools and diagnostic instruments; run checks on belts, bearings, lubrication systems.
Follow safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and safety standards.
