Job summary

Valtir Llc in Ft Worth, TX is seeking a Career Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical equipment (cranes, forklifts, presses, mills) and perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.

The role requires knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics, ability to work in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment, and a full-time first shift with starting pay at $21.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Sophisticated knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics with the ability to install, maintain, and repair plant equipment.
• Experience with repairs on Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Mechanical equipment.
• Ability to operate various electric, pneumatic, and other hand tools.
• Positive 'Can Do' attitude, able to weather setbacks and cultural resistance.
• Must be able to work individually and as part of a team.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and stand for long periods in a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform mechanical/electrical repairs on various types of equipment including cranes, Forklifts, Presses, mills, etc.
• Determine root cause of equipment problems and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime
• Use mobile equipment including scissors lift, boom lift, forklift, crane and other to perform job tasks
• Perform preventive maintenance on all tools, machinery and equipment
• Complete individual work orders in a thorough and timely manner
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
