Job summary

Valtir LLC in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Career Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility on the 1st shift. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and help deploy safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Starting wage is $21.50 per hour, with full-time, first shift responsibilities. Candidates should have knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics, and be able to lift up to 60 lbs in a

Qualifications

Must have knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.
Experience repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
Ability to operate various electric and hand tools.
Reliable, positive attitude and able to work in a fast-paced plant.
Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair equipment including cranes, forklifts, presses, and mills.
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools, machinery, and equipment.
Complete work orders thoroughly and on time.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment by following procedures and safety rules.
Attend to additional duties as needed.
