Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair and improve machinery throughout the factory. The role emphasizes automation and the ability to detect and fix issues before they escalate.

Responsibilities include disassembly and reassembly per blueprints, using diagnostic tools, and performing preventive maintenance on SMT and robotic assembly equipment, with collaboration across production teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree / 2 year Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of related experience required.
• Experience with SMT and robotic assembly equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in team environment or able to be self directed.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical literature.
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics and technical instructions.
• Ability to convey technical concepts to non technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Performs all repairs of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical parts for SMT and other Robotic assembly equipment.
• Repairs all support equipment including conveyors and soldering robotics.
• Troubleshoots issues in work cells containing as many as 5 integrated machines.
• Created spare parts lists and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Performs general building maintenance and other duties as assigned.
