You will collect and analyze productivity data, help design plant layouts and capacity models, and mentor junior staff in standard work practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 8+ years of experience supporting industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Two-year/associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing or related field is preferred.
• Lean tools and simulation/analysis software knowledge is desirable.
• Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducts time studies, methods analysis and line-balancing data collection.
• Develops and maintains standard work, labor standards, capacity data and visual aids.
• Supports development of plant layouts and material-flow diagrams.
• Collects, analyzes and reports productivity and efficiency data.
• Identifies process-improvement opportunities and supports kaizen events.
• Supports line launches, rebalancing and headcount modeling.
• Provides guidance to less-experienced technicians and operators on standard work.
