Job summary
Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician in Fort Worth, TX to support time studies, methods, and capacity work at a manufacturing facility. The role helps the industrial engineering team continuously improve production lines.
Responsibilities include updating standard work and capacity data, assisting with layouts, and analyzing productivity. Qualified candidates will have a technical/associate degree and 2+ years in industrial engineering or manufacturing
Qualifications
- Requires technical/associate degree and 2+ years of experience supporting industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.
- Experience with time studies, methods analysis and line balancing preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and data-analysis tools to update capacity data and visual aids.
- Ability to read layouts, blueprints and process documentation.
- Experience supporting production line optimization and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supports time studies, methods analysis and line balancing.
- Updates standard work, capacity data and visual aids.
- Assists in updating layouts and material-flow diagrams.
- Collects and analyzes productivity and efficiency data.
- Supports continuous-improvement and cost-reduction projects.
- Supports the optimization of production lines.
- Set ERP/MES parameters for labor hours.
