Job summary

UPS seeks highly qualified Industrial Engineers for its Engineering Development Program (EDP), a four-month training track with hands-on work, classroom learning, and mentorship within UPS Operations. Participants will gain exposure to large project implementations and training initiatives.

Upon successful completion, they may transition to an IE Supervisor role to lead teams, drive process improvements, and support operational excellence within a Fortune Global 500 company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently on projects.
• Interest in process improvements and operations research.
• Valid driver's license by start date of employment.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports project and program management.
• Leads and supports process improvements.
• Performs work measurement using Master Standard Data (MSD).
• Conducts Operations Research.
• Participates in integrated business planning.
• Supports new technology integration and implementation.
• Administers training and development.
