Job summary

The Lozier internship program in Omaha invites rising engineers to apply their classroom knowledge to real world manufacturing projects. You will work with design, manufacturing and quality teams, assisting in planning, design, and execution while gaining hands-on experience across engineering disciplines.

You will learn through mentorship, participate in data analysis, and contribute to safe, efficient production processes.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment or recent graduate in a related Bachelor degree program.
• Strong academic record with coursework in relevant engineering disciplines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• High sense of urgency.
• Eagerness to take initiative and work on challenging technical projects.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
• Knowledge of MOST or similar measurement system is a plus.
• 2D/3D modeling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, design, and execute projects.
• Provide technical support to engineers and other team members.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to engineering activities.
• Analyze data and propose recommendations based on findings.
• Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality control teams to ensure project success.
