Job summary

MacLean-Fogg's OMCO facility in Pierceton, Indiana, seeks an Engineering Intern to apply classroom learning to real manufacturing challenges. You will collaborate with engineers, operators, quality professionals, and maintenance teams to understand production processes and help improve products and processes.

You will own a meaningful project with guidance, possibly addressing quality issues, scrap reduction, process improvements, automation, or design evaluation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Availability to work full time and on site for the full 10-week program.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Housing assistance or related benefits may be available.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow the facility's safety practices.
• Define a project with guidance and develop practical solutions.
• Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities and measure results.
• Use CAD, testing equipment, data analysis, root cause analysis, or lean methods.
• Present capstone project and recommendations to facility leadership.
