Job summary

MGA Entertainment, a leading toy and entertainment company based in Los Angeles, seeks an Industrial Engineer to optimize labor planning and drive warehouse efficiency. You will analyze processes, forecast demand, and implement Lean initiatives to reduce costs and improve productivity.

You will collaborate with warehouse managers, HR, and operations to design standards, schedules, and data-driven improvements that support scalable distribution across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management in large-scale distribution centers.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement techniques.
• Experience with labor management systems, forecasting tools, and time-motion studies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Labor Planning & Optimization: Design and implement efficient labor strategies based on demand forecasting and historical data.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and lead initiatives to streamline processes and reduce waste using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Productivity Monitoring: Establish systems to track productivity metrics and generate regular warehouse performance reports.
• Cost Reduction & Savings: Analyze labor optimization impact and identify opportunities for automation or process redesigns.
• Training & Development: Train warehouse teams on new workflows and SOPs for labor planning and productivity tracking.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Align with HR and management and regularly update leadership on progress and savings.
