Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a Industrial Engineer to optimize warehouse operations in a St. Louis distribution environment. The role focuses on streamlining flows of people, products, and equipment using WMS/LMS and automation while leading CI projects and re-engineering supply chain processes.

Responsibilities include bottleneck identification, facility layout design, labor standards development, and KPI creation to drive cost efficiency and service improvements across partner sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Operations & Automation in warehousing or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze warehouse processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for cost reduction using time studies and data analysis.
• Design facility layouts and material flow optimization using CAD and simulation tools.
• Develop, implement, and maintain engineered labor standards within WMS/LMS environments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5S, value stream mapping, and TOC to improve productivity.
• Forecast facility capacity requirements based on projections and seasonal volumes.
• Build dashboards and KPIs to track labor, capacity, inventory, and service metrics.
