Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a capable engineer/PM to lead major program outcomes across integrated supply chain and manufacturing functions at our Merritt Island facility. You will mentor teams, drive root-cause analyses, and perform trade studies with vehicle-level and subsystem design groups to enable fabrication and integration of parts.

You will monitor product health, manage schedules and budgets, and apply program management principles to develop executable plans and solutions that meet safety,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of combined experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and project management roles.
• Experience setting technical direction and trade-off decisions for architectures.
• Experience leading technical projects with significant depth and scope.

Responsibilities

• Own the successful completion of major program outcomes and mentor teammates.
• Lead development of recovery and root-cause analyses.
• Perform trade studies with design teams to enable fabrication and integration of parts.
• Provide technical on-floor contact during build execution.
• Monitor product health, schedule, and budget; collaborate to deliver within goals.
• Apply program management principles to develop executable plans and solutions.
• Manage production schedule targets and report performance/variance.
• Manage production budget targets and report performance/variance.
