Job summary
Globe Machine Manufacturing seeks an Industrial Engineer to translate customer needs into tailored factory solutions. You will partner with our Sales team and contribute to proposals that win new business, blending engineering, technical sales, and creative problem-solving.
You will develop technical drawings, cost models, and renderings, and present solutions to customers. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and manufacturing to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Experience reading technical drawings and equipment specs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
- Experience or interest in cost modeling, process flow, and proposals.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer needs into tailored manufacturing solutions.
- Develop technical and commercial proposals including drawings and renderings.
- Estimate costs for equipment, automation, controls, and robotics.
- Draft process descriptions, specs, and project requirements.
- Present solutions to internal leadership and external customers.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales teams.
