Job summary

Globe Machine Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Product Design Engineer to lead the design and development of complex industrial machinery from concept through start-up.

You will create CAD models and drawings, specify components, oversee manufacturing documentation, and provide technical leadership to designers and drafters while collaborating with manufacturing, controls, and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years hands-on engineering experience in industrial machinery.
• Experience leading design teams of designers and drafters.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of complex industrial machinery from concept to startup.
• Create complete equipment systems and components per specs and standards.
• Develop 3D models, layouts, drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing packages.
• Lead testing procedures and troubleshoot to validate performance.
• Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, controls, project management, and customers.
• Travel to customer sites to support installation and startup.
