Job summary

Emotiv Mobility is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize material flows and processes at our Louisville, KY site. You will design layouts, improve efficiency, and support data‑driven decisions that reduce costs and increase throughput.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering, 2+ years in manufacturing, and hands‑on Lean experience. This on‑site role reports to the VP of Operations, with cross‑functional collaboration across Operations, IT, and Transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and hands‑on implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop material storage plans and layouts for new programs and changes.
• Analyze current and future material flow, labor, and space utilization.
• Lead layout development for continuous improvement initiatives and program changes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date plant drawings and documentation for facility aspects.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute layout, storage, and process changes.
