Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, Logistics, or related technical field.
  • 1-3+ years of industrial engineering, process improvement, manufacturing engineering, logistics engineering, or warehouse engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Line-Side Material Delivery Design: Design and implement efficient material presentation and delivery systems that support production requirements while minimizing waste and operator movement.
  • Material Flow Optimization: Develop and improve material handling processes, including kitting, point-of-use inventory, tugger routes, gravity-fed racks, and replenishment strategies.
  • Facility & Process Layout Design: Support warehouse and production layout development to maximize space utilization, material flow efficiency, and operational throughput.
  • Time & Motion Studies: Conduct time studies, labor observations, and workflow analysis to establish labor standards, improve productivity, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Apply Lean principles including 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, Kanban, and Value Stream Mapping to improve operational performance.
  • Ergonomics & Safety Improvements: Evaluate workstation and material presentation designs to promote safe work practices and reduce ergonomic risks.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize operational data to identify improvement opportunities, measure results, and support business decisions through KPI reporting and ROI analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Project Management, Engineering, Safety, IT, and customer stakeholders to support startup activities and ongoing operational enhancements.
  • Capital Project Support: Assist with equipment evaluations, process improvement investments, and facility modifications by providing cost-benefit and ROI analysis.
