Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Grapevine, TX, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join a client site. This is a full-time, direct hire position focused on improving safety, quality, productivity, and cost in manufacturing operations.

The role involves applying Lean principles, statistical methods, and structured problem-solving to eliminate waste, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement across Production, Quality, Engineering, Test and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement, or related role.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and production systems.
• Ability to work overtime to support production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes, workflows, labor and equipment utilization to improve productivity, quality and cost.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement methods.
• Create process maps, workflows, layouts, and standardized methods to enhance efficiency.
• Identify waste and bottlenecks and develop solutions to improve flow.
• Support NPI activities to ensure manufacturing readiness and tooling needs.
• Provide engineering oversight to align documentation and manufacturing methods.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
• Assess capacity and process capability using DOE and statistical methods.
• Optimize equipment and processes to maximize throughput and reduce cost and waste.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex manufacturing issues.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safer, more efficient methods.
