Job summary

HYVE Solutions in Colorado is seeking an Industrial Engineer to set production standards, perform time studies, conduct capacity analyses, and collaborate with the manufacturing team to meet growing client demand.

You will develop 2D/3D layouts in AutoCAD, lead lean initiatives, manage work instructions, balance lines, optimize machining, and drive continuous improvement with QE/TE/PM to ensure quality and cost leadership.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 5+ years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• Plan and implement Capital Equipment projects with ROI metrics.
• Facilitate continuous improvement / Kaizen events; 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, 1 piece Flow, Kanban, TPM.
• Strong AutoCAD knowledge; create and maintain 2D/3D layouts.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and methods.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Self-starter; able to work independently and in a team.
• Problem solving mindset; eagerness to learn new processes and technologies.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure; PFMEA, DFx, Six Sigma desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set production standards by time study and standard data.
• Conduct capacity analysis with the manufacturing team to match demand.
• Create 2D drawings in AutoCAD from specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering to improve processes and productivity.
• Develop production process sequences for new products.
• Manage process documentation, work instructions and quality standards.
• Promote LEAN manufacturing and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Review and improve ergonomic practices and line balancing.
• Optimize machining processes for quality, efficiency and repeatability.
• Design tooling for new products and drive cost reductions.
• Plan and manage projects toward continuous product improvement.
• Coordinate with QE/TE/PM to align on quality objectives.
