This Industrial Engineer role partners with the extended team to develop and improve production processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering.
Strong background in manufacturing processes, process improvement, and operational optimization.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
Internships or Co-op experience in Industrial and Mechanical systems including packaging, layouts, conveying, and product handling.

Responsibilities

Determine the capacity of production and process.
Improve production processes through lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste, costs and increase quality.
Layout changes using AutoCAD; ergonomic studies and workstation design.
Understand and utilize 5S, 7 Waste, VSM, and Problem Solving.
Create and maintain Job Detail Records.
Perform time studies with detailed value-added analysis.
Train and assist equipment operators and maintenance technicians.
Review safety and quality standards to ensure compliance.
Interact with leadership across multiple functional areas to align on technical strategy.
