Job summary
Ford Motor Company is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve production systems. You will analyze bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and apply lean principles to reduce waste and improve quality across manufacturing operations.
You will lead labor standards development, perform time and motion studies, conduct value stream mapping, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and productivity gains.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
- Experience with labor standards, time studies, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly using root-cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Drive development of labor standards and methods; track manpower utilization and line balancing.
- Perform time and motion studies and MODAPTS analyses.
- Develop cost-saving project proposals and write project plans.
