Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Core Industrial Engineer to standardize and advance IE practices across Powertrain and Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering. The role focuses on improving labor efficiency, optimizing processes, and ensuring robust data management for new programs and ongoing operations.

You will lead the development of IE standards, collaborate across teams, and drive strategic labor planning and benchmarking to improve performance and enable informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical) required.
• 1 year of Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing operations experience; co-op counts.
• Experience with GSPAS required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and documentation of IE standards, procedures, and forms for VO and PTO.
• Coordinate IE information sharing meetings and forums.
• Develop and deliver IE training programs including MODAPTS and IE competency matrix.
• Manage PTME JPH database and the JPH re-rate approval process; be the IE single point of contact for key systems.
• Generate pre-program labor estimates for cycle plan, capacity analysis, and sourcing decisions.
