Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design and implement technologies, systems, and processes to boost plant production and efficiency. You will manage technical aspects of new product builds in collaboration with Production, Quality, and Design Engineering, applying engineering drawings and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidates should have experience in manufacturing environments, knowledge of lean concepts, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or production engineering in an assembly or fabrication environment.
Experience leading the implementation or overseer of production tracking software, systems, WIP Staging, or OEE data methods.
Experience implementing lean manufacturing concepts in a production environment.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Ability to create manufacturing processes and procedures from data or drawings.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new technologies, systems, and processes to improve plant production and efficiency.
Manage the technical aspects of new product builds in support of Production, Quality, and Design Engineering.
Develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity; work independently with some guidance.
Review or guide activities of junior employees and technicians.
