Job summary

Randstad USA in Woodruff, SC is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive operational excellence, optimize labor utilization, and eliminate shop-floor waste. You will analyze end-to-end workflows, develop labor standards, and manage Manufacturing BOMs to maximize plant efficiency.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in industrial/manufacturing engineering and 5+ years of experience, with proficiency in work measurement, line balancing, AutoCAD, simulation software, Minitab, and Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in industrial/manufacturing engineering.
5+ years of manufacturing experience.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct work measurement studies to establish precise labor standards, staffing models, and ergonomic improvements.
Develop standard work, optimize production line balancing, and evaluate cycle/takt times to boost OEE and minimize downtime.
Design efficient plant cell layouts, kanban systems, and material routings from receiving to shipping.
Maintain Manufacturing BOMs and routing configurations to ensure ERP data accuracy.
Lead Kaizen events and root cause analysis using Lean, PDCA, and DMAIC to drive waste elimination.
Analyze manufacturing metrics and generate executive dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
