Job summary

Airsys Cooling Technologies is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Woodruff, SC to drive productivity improvements across manufacturing workflows. The role emphasizes labor standards, MBOM/Routing handling, and data-driven decision making to optimize line balance and plant efficiency.

Responsibilities include conducting time studies, waste elimination, and Kaizen events, plus collaboration across Production, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing Industrial Engineering experience.
• Experience with labor standards, workflow analysis, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing, productivity & efficiency improvement.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• AutoCAD/layout software, one Simulation s/w (FlexSim/Arena/Simio/Witness), Power BI, and Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Conduct work measurement using stopwatch studies, MTM, MOST, and time studies.
• Develop and maintain labor standards and staffing models.
• Perform method studies to eliminate waste and improve ergonomics.
• Create standard work and balance production lines.
• Analyze workflows from receiving through shipping.
• Perform manufacturing data analysis (cycle time, takt time, OEE, downtime, labor efficiency, utilization).
• Lead waste/loss elimination and Kaizen events.
• Design efficient material flow, routing, point-of-use inventory, Kanban, and supermarkets.
• Develop and maintain MBOMs and manufacturing routings.
• Support ERP updates and new product introductions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, PDCA, DMAIC, and RCA.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Planning, and Engineering.
• Present data in managerial interpretation with visualization using advanced excel, macro, PowerBi.
