Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct work measurement studies to establish precise labor standards, staffing models, and ergonomic improvements.
• Develop standard work, optimize production line balancing, and evaluate cycle/takt times to boost OEE and minimize downtime.
• Design efficient plant cell layouts, kanban systems, and material routings from receiving to shipping.
• Maintain Manufacturing BOMs and routing configurations to ensure ERP data accuracy.
• Lead Kaizen events and root cause analysis using Lean, PDCA, and DMAIC to drive waste elimination.
• Analyze manufacturing metrics and generate executive dashboards using Excel and Power BI.

Job Summary

An Industrial Engineer is needed for a leading cooling technology OEM near Greenville, SC. The Industrial Engineer will drive operational excellence, optimize labor utilization, and eliminate shop‑floor waste. In this role, you will analyze end‑to‑end workflows, develop labor standards, and manage Manufacturing BOMs to maximize plant efficiency. You will also collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement Lean initiatives, streamline material flow, and balance production lines.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in industrial, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field, along with 5+ years of manufacturing experience. Proficiency in work measurement, line balancing, AutoCAD, simulation software, Minitab, and Power BI is required. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and hands‑on experience with ERP systems or MES are highly preferred. This is a direct hire role, and our client is seeking local talent currently.

• Maintain Manufacturing BOMs and routing configurations to ensure seamless ERP data accuracy and NPI support
• Lead structured Kaizen events and root cause analysis using Lean, PDCA, and DMAIC frameworks to drive continuous waste elimination
• Analyze manufacturing metrics and generate executive dashboards using advanced Excel, macros, and Power BI
