Job summary

Emerson's Mansfield, OH location is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence in a high-tech production facility. The role focuses on Lean initiatives, process optimization, and collaboration with operations, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.

You will analyze data, lead root cause investigations, develop tooling concepts with SolidWorks, and build Power BI dashboards to monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead root cause analysis using 8D, A3, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
• Drive improvements in OEE, labor productivity, first-pass yield, and throughput.
• Support cost reduction through productivity improvements and waste elimination.
• Design tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauging with SolidWorks based on requirements.
