Job summary

Guhring is seeking an Industrial Engineer for its Brookfield, WI facility to tackle plant troubleshooting, process design, and project implementation supporting tooling manufacturing and reconditioning programs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field with 5+ years in manufacturing, strong Lean skills, ERP experience, and a proven record of improving efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business related field.
• At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve routings, labor standards, and processes for production tools.
• Create routings for reconditioning, coating, and modified standard product operations.
• Provide drawings, process documentation, and engineering support as required.
• Maintain ERP and manufacturing system data for accurate planning, scheduling and cost reporting.
• Analyze routing accuracy, labor standards, and cost impacts of process changes.
• Conduct time studies and evaluate processes to improve labor standards and productivity.
• Monitor production performance, identify variances, and suggest corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supervisors to improve work center performance with standardized work.
