Job summary

Acro Service Corp is seeking an Industrial Engineer to provide engineering support for safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. You will implement new manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement across plant operations in Toledo, OH.

You will work with cross-functional teams to develop layouts, conduct time and motion studies, and optimize labor efficiency on assembly lines and warehousing. Travel may be <5% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Industrial or Mechanical preferred.
• Strong technical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Self-starter with ability to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve facility and lineside equipment layouts.
• Identify and optimize component flow and display to operators on the lineside.
• Develop time studies, spaghetti diagrams and work balance studies for Standardized Work.
• Determine headcount and labor efficiency for assembly lines and material handling.
• Develop warehouse layouts and space analyses based on volumes and delivery frequency.
• Maintain PFEP and containerization standards to support material handling improvements.
