You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize layouts, balance lines, analyze time studies, and support DOS objectives while adhering to change management procedures. CAD proficiency and plant-floor experience are required, with travel <5%.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Field required - Industrial or Mechanical.
• Experience with kitting, sequencing and repack operations is a plus.
• Strong AutoCAD skills with an emphasis on assembly cell layout best practices.
• Background in warehouse planning/design and material handling.
• Plant floor experience

Aufgaben

• Develop and improve facility and lineside equipment layouts.
• Identify and optimize component flow and display to the operators lineside.
• Develop and maintain time studies, spaghetti diagrams and work balance studies for Standardized Work.
• Determine current and future state headcount for each assembly line and material handling operation.
• Develop current and future state warehouse layouts and space analyses.
• Maintain PFEP within the facility to optimize material display and handling standards.
• Work with cross functional teams to develop containerization standards.
• Support Core Teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate daily with Engineering, Quality, Materials, Operations, Program Management.
• Support and execution of Dana Operating System (DOS) Objectives.
• Follow change management procedure for process changes.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
