Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead and support high-volume production process improvements on the shop floor. You will develop and maintain production methods, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.

The role emphasizes hands-on process development, standardized work, and lean execution in a fast-paced environment. The engineer will balance manpower, support new product launches, and execute engineering changes while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing engineering experience, with flexibility for 1–2 years.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing or assembly with engineering and production focus.
• Hands-on engineering skills in process engineering, tooling/equipment specification, and production support.
• Lean manufacturing experience, focusing on waste reduction and process flow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support new process trials and provide ongoing engineering support for current production.
• Establish and maintain optimal production methods, standards, tooling, and equipment.
• Drive safety, ergonomics, and efficiency through process design and initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and lean implementations.
• Coordinate new product introductions and engineering change activity for production readiness.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other Manufacturing Engineers.
