Job summary

OmniForce Solutions is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Claremore, OK to optimize production layouts and improve workflow on the shop floor. You will design and implement efficient production systems, collaborating with design and R&D to ensure manufacturability while minimizing disruption.

The role focuses on lean process improvement, capacity planning, and continuous optimization of production flows, equipment utilization, and cross-functional teamwork to drive cost savings and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing optimization.
• Strong knowledge of process layout optimization, workflow management, and production systems design.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools for layout and process flow design.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working with multiple departments to achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Layout optimization of the production floor to improve workflow and reduce material handling time.
• Design and implement strategies to streamline process flows and improve cycle times.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles across production operations.
• Assess capacities and propose adjustments or upgrades for future growth.
• Collaborate with design and R&D to ensure manufacturability with optimized layouts.
• Identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and improve equipment utilization and plan integration of new equipment.
• Create and maintain SOPs, process flows, and other documentation to standardize operations.
• Execute cost-reduction initiatives related to layout, equipment use, and material handling.
