Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Engineer to own and improve a designated manufacturing area, driving continuous improvement across operations. You will design layouts, optimize material flow, and lead projects from concept to implementation, mentoring junior engineers along the way.

The role emphasizes safety, ergonomics, labor efficiency, throughput, and capacity through data-driven analysis, time studies, and capacity modeling in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline is required.
  • 8-10 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership of complex projects with independent execution.
  • Deep understanding of materials flow, finished goods storage, and line design.

Responsibilities

  • Own and support a designated manufacturing area, production line, or segment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost safety, ergonomics, labor efficiency, throughput, and capacity.
  • Conduct time studies, labor analyses, and process evaluations to identify opportunities.
  • Design and optimize production layouts, material flow systems, and workstations.
  • Lead projects from identification through implementation and mentor junior engineers.
