Job summary

Omniforce Solutions in Claremore, OK seeks an Industrial Engineer to optimize the layout and flow of its production for air-cooled heat exchangers. You will design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing systems to boost productivity and reduce waste on the shop floor.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, 5+ years of experience, CAD/CAM proficiency, and Lean Six Sigma know-how.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing optimization, preferably in a production environment.
Strong knowledge of process layout optimization, workflow management, and production systems design.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools for layout and process flow design.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working with multiple departments to achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities

Layout optimization of the production floor to improve workflow and efficiency.
Design and implement streamlined process flows to reduce bottlenecks.
Lead continuous improvement using lean principles and industry best practices.
Assess production capacity and propose layout changes or equipment upgrades.
Collaborate with design and R&D to ensure manufacturability and optimized layouts.
Identify root causes of production inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Monitor equipment utilization and lead the integration of new equipment.
Create documentation for process flows, SOPs, and guidelines to standardize operations.
Implement cost-reduction initiatives related to layout and material handling.
Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D to optimize solutions.
