Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Industrial Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• Experience with data collection, root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Ability to apply throughput improvement processes and LEAN principles.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement site lean activities (5S, standard work, visual management, pace to takt, value stream mapping, Kaizen, 8D).
• Drive waste reduction and productivity improvements across manufacturing and office areas.
• Foster continuous improvement culture through leadership of facility Leads, Supervisors and Managers.
• Standardize and optimize processes, sequences, layouts and flow.
• Develop plans, track performance and ensure timely completion of improvement projects and savings goals.
• Design equipment layouts, workflow and safety measures to maximize utilization.
• Own and manage capital expenditures through design, vendor selection and implementation.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Site Leadership to craft CI roadmaps.
• Oversee capacity modeling, production planning tools and time standards.
