Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize distribution operations and lead key projects that improve cost, quality, safety, and ergonomic outcomes. The role offers exposure to varied operations and the opportunity to impact profitability across sites.

You will manage layouts, support process improvements, and champion CI initiatives while collaborating with vendors, customers, and internal teams to drive peak performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent, required.
• 0-4 years of experience in distribution or logistics, required.
• Experience with distribution, logistics, project management, preferred.
• Some knowledge of Industrial Engineering, preferred.
• Basic concept of a warehouse operation (inbound, put away, pick, pack, ship)
• Capable of using AutoCAD and making layout changes.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to manage deadlines and prioritize your workload in a manner that enables you to achieve results.
• Provide support with layout, design, improvement, and implementation that enables our sites to achieve peak performance.
• Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects for the customer.
• Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements.
• Participate in management circles.
