Job summary

Applicants should be pursuing Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering and possess CAD and MS Office skills. On-site location, with potential for flexible schedules at select locations, and a timeline through Oct 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build plans, tooling, and manufacturing processes for components and assemblies.
• Redesign tooling to improve operators' work environments.
• Analyze layouts and production processes to improve facility layouts for product flow.
• Create reference documents and standardized work for new or improved processes.
• Analyze quality concerns, make recommendations for improvement, and implement ideas.
• Explore new equipment and software to reduce scrap and downtime and recommend changes to production flow.
• Monitor and improve key supply chain KPIs including PPM, line disruptions and days to close NCMT.
• Develop standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
• Evaluate production processes to increase productivity and investigate methods to enhance the product.
• Coordinate material and tooling availability with stakeholders.
